How many dreams have we silenced before they ever had a chance to grow?
We tell ourselves:
"No, because I don’t have time.”
"No, because I’m not ready."
'No, because what if I fail?"
It’s a script we know well, one that is rooted in fear, scarcity, and self-doubt. We think we’re being realistic. Safe. Sensible.
But what if we rewrote the script?
What if, instead of shutting the door, we cracked it open? What if we said:
"Yes, if I make the time."
"Yes, if I take one brave step."
"Yes, if I believe in myself, even just a little."
“Yes, if...” Opens the Door to Possibility.
It’s not about blind optimism. It’s about conditional courage, honoring what’s needed while still moving forward. This shift is exactly what The Magician in the tarot embodies.
The Magician reminds us that we already have the tools:
- The wand of inspiration
- The sword of truth
- The cup of emotion
- The pentacle of grounded effort
But tools alone don’t create magic. Intention does. Action does. Belief does.
When we shift from “No, because...” to “Yes, if...,” we move from passive doubt to active possibility. We become the creators of our own story.
Let this be the moment you say: Yes, if I trust my light.
The door is waiting. Will you open it?
One of my quiet joys is rock tumbling. If you’ve never tried it, let me assure you - it’s perhaps the least instant gratification hobby you can imagine. You begin with a rough, unpolished stone. In my case, I started with a raw piece of Lace Agate...jagged, dusty, and seemingly unremarkable.
A child on the playground hangs from the monkey bars, giggling. For a moment, the world is upside down. The trees stretch downward. The clouds look like they’re falling. Nothing is broken, it’s just a new way of seeing.
